PostSubject: Planning a new load out   Tue Mar 16, 2010 10:43 am

Ok so I'm going to update my load out this Summer and wanted some opinions on Gear.
I know i'm a little late to jump on the Multicam band wagon but that's what I'm wanting with a Tan vest, Tan dump pouch,Tan Hydration pack and possibly a MICH 2000 helmet.
Here are the two vests I have narrowed it down to.

I like the simplicity of the first one and the price is good too.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4637

This one is pretty hardcore looking but double the price as the 1st. I can budget it in if its worth it?
http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=27758

Here's the helmet I'm looking at
http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=25132

and the helmet cover.

If anyone has had any experience with these products or has any opinion about them, Please feel free to comment......Thanks

i like the second one because you might even pay more just buying the individual pouches, and it looks well made

I am not sure 2 vests gets the job done. Besides, it would be easier to just sew velcro to my shirt and stick velcro to my mags. Than I can just stick them anywhere on my shirt, and I still won't be milsim. cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers

Here's the molle vest I went with. It's the only molle vest that was a mesh that was fully configurable. Don't have multicam though.

I like the mesh because I'm a northern boy and it gets HOT in GA!

I got the green vest and will be configuring it with mostly tan pouches. Sort of a homemade cammo Wink

I have the Mich Helmet that you are thinking about getting.

I like it. It looks good. It has solid construction. The only thing they could have done a better job on is the straps. They are not bad though. I would recommend you get it.

I will be there next Saturday after 1. You can check it out then.

The straps work they could just be better. If you are really hardcore you could buy the real replacement straps. Also the Mich 2000 has a lower profile. It covers more of your ears. Some of the later version have much less ear protection.

Thanks Killjoy!

On another note, I have been looking at the X-camo and it looks very interesting to me. Tan accessories go well with it. Has anyone seen this camo up close?
