PostSubject: Field Radio   Fri Mar 19, 2010 9:20 pm

i never see anyone using Radios on the field.
Is it that most peeps don't have them?
I would love to use my radio and headset more often....but its hard to use if nobody else is.

We have them...(we being most of PWNY), but the majority of us do not use them because they are a wonderful give-away-your-position-like-a-flare-gun thing if you're trying not to be noticed. Thats why we do not usually use them anyway.

What kind of field radio do you guys recommend? I don't know much about them? Also what kind of headset would work well with a helmet? I have seen some throat mikes but I dont know how well they work.

It was great to use the radios at the last game. It added a tactical advantage during the "Ammo crate drop" game. I plan to use my radio more often and hope that other players will too.

They made a decided difference . . . Gonna try a few headset variations tho . . .
I ran with the Bowman and the Swimmer yesterday . . . preferred the swimmer but may play with a Breacher Mask that is molded for use with the Bowman in particular . . . should be an easy fit . . .
