PostSubject: Operation Hollywood   Thu Feb 10, 2011 11:07 pm

As part of my senior project at my high school, I decided to host/plan an airsoft event raising money for Operation Homefront.

OP Hollywood

This "op" is really less of an operation and more of just an awesome day of airsoft with a theme; which is, as the name implies, based on several famous action/war movies.

Date: March 19 10am-6pm

Location: A13

Price: $15 (if you sign up beforehand by contacting me you will get a free t-shirt)

To contact me call or text me at 770-815-4728 (note: I will be in school on week
days until 3:30, so if you contact me before then I will not answer)

Within the next couple of days I will post some of the games I've come up with, and I'd like some feedback from you guys on what you think as this is the first time I have attempted such a feat.

Hope you guys can make it!!!!! Automatic Guns

I think one of the games should be Tombstone were they had the shoot out at the OK corral. And the pursuit of the Cowboy Clan. It would be limited to pistols and shotguns only.

Thanks Daryle! I totally forgot to post that, I'm an idiot!! Duh

Anyway, I'm glad most of you can come, I've got a bunch of friends that will be coming down too so it should be an awesome day.

Everyone, plan on bringing a lunch and plenty to drink. You know how it is.

Here are some of the games I am planning on doing:

First is the Red Dawn game. This will consist of two teams, one the russians/mexicans, the others are the americans. Since the R/M are an invading military force, they will be able to use whatever weapons they want. The americans on the other hand are made up of mostly civilians so most of the team is restricted to pistols, knives, shotguns, and bolt action rifles. There also will be a few on the american side that are the "national guard" or "army" that will be allowed to use automatic weapons and such. The objective is for the R/M team to take the "cities" at north base, zombie, and the barn. The americans will defend and will move to the next base as they die, as per the game played often at area 13. (can't for the life of me remember the name of that game.)

The next is the Tombstone game that alpine suggested. It will be a standard pistol, knife, shotgun match for the crack village.

The next is the Saving Private Ryan game. In this game, one team, the "allies", will be fighting the "axis" from north base to south base in order to acquire Ryan the VIP of sorts. All allies will respawn in north base, and the axis will respawn in zombie, so the allies will have to fight to Ryan and then still have to fight their way back to north base. There may only be two guards at a time to guard Ryan.

The next is the Platoon game. It will be a standard 3 respawn deathmatch.

The next is the Great Escape game. It will be a standard jailbreak game.

The next is the Battle of the Bulge game. It will be a capture the flag game for the flag set in the crack village.

The last, and my favorite, is the Flags of Our Fathers game. This one has two parts. The first has the smaller japanese force hiding anywhere from the tower up to north base and will be like the battle up the mountain on Iwo Jima. The japanese have five lives and will respawn at north base. The larger american force will have unlimited lives and will respawn at the barn. Once the japanese have been overrun the second phase will begin. It will be like the clearing of the rest of the island after the mountain was taken. This part will work much like the first but now the japanese force will be heavily entrenched in and around south base and will also respawn there. The americans will respawn at the tower.

If you have any feedback about any of the games I am very open minded to ideas. See you guys on Saturday!!! Dancing Banana
