Battery sales are something that is it tough for a retailer to do. The Hong Kong vendors have such incredible prices but you really need to be able to solder to take advantage of them. Most folks go to Deans when they go to lipos so we'll just assume that you can solder or know someone who can if you follow these links. (There are great youtube tutorials if you wanna learn!)
www.hobbyking.com is where almost all batteries are bought in this area. Some stores sell batts that are under $8 there for $45 here . . . you decide! Rolling Eyes No Rolling Eyes

I recommend 7.4v 20c-35c batts for almost ALL airsoft applications! You need to be a decent gun tech and be prepared to work on your gun if you are gonna run 11.1v! The gun that you bought that said it was "lipo" ready is 7.4v ready NOT 11.1v ready!!! Rolling Eyes
11.1v lipo use is a different discussion entirely IMHO!

My favorite "go to" battery is this one and I have ordered about a dozen with very good results. (It goes in and out of stock so check back.) It is a good size that will fit just about any application without overpowering most gearboxes. I also like 35c batts but find better prices on ebay when going to higher C rates. ("c rate" is discharge rate. It will show a constant and a burst rate. Multiply the c-rate times your mAh and get your discharge. ex: 20c 2200mah battery= 20x2.200=44 amp discharge rate)

I recommend this charger and only this charger because I have experience with it
It can be had for $46 and will charge anything you wanna run! cheers
Hope that helps as a link for anyone needing a primer or a starting point on going lipo! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Thanks for the info Tinman I know I need to replace some of my batterys so I will be ordering some here in the next few weeks. Great find. I gave you a perk point for your post. Oh yea these perk points are not the same as field perks. What a Face
